Recipes shared need not be 5 star rated restaurant quality to impress. Link up your family’s favorites and maybe find a new family favorite among the recipes listed below. I’m always on the lookout for something new to prepare for my family.
This weeks recipe is: Three Cheese Marinara, Garlic Cheese Toast and Salad.
We will be making our Three Cheese Marinara with the help of Ultimate Hamburger Helper and purchased garlic toast.
According to the Ultimate Hamburger Help box the only added ingredients I will need is: 1 – pound ground beef, 1 1/2 cups milk and 1/2 cup water. However we did add shredded cheese to the final dish just before serving.
Brown your ground beef and then drain. Now add in your milk and water, then add your dried noodles and seasoning package from the kit. I stir mine occasionally and keep covered with a lid the rest of the time.
While this is cooking I pull out a baking sheet and place a few slices of garlic toast, which I place in the oven ( I set our oven a temp a little lower than directed on the box because we like our garlic bread a little softer for the final product. While the Hamburger Helper and garlic toast are cooking I pull together a couple of dinner salads.
Once the bread is done remove from oven. Place the salad on the plate and then place the Three Cheese Marinara along with a slice of garlic toast on each plate. Mr. prefers to have added cheese to; well everything so I added a bit across the top.
I prepared our Ultimate Hamburger Helper dinner in under 45 minutes. Making for a hot meal during a busy week night.
