The Time Has Come… My Chicago Trip is Near #Boomer #VZWVoices

Disclosure: I (PTF) am participating in the Verizon Boomer Voices program and will be provided with a wireless device and six (6) months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.

The time has arrived to make my BIG announcement! I’ve been selected as a member of the Verizon #Boomer #VZWVoices blogger program! Yeah!

I will be taking off EARLY Saturday morning (yes, with coffee in hand) to begin my journey to Chicago; where I’ll be properly trained aka schooled in the use of a new Verizon wireless device. As you know, I’ve used the iPhone for some time, meaning the new wireless device will be a completely new to me experience. However I have confidence I can master the art of using the latest wireless device, with Boomer style over the next six (6) months!

I’m also excited about meeting some of my fellow bloggers whom are all close in age, face to face so to speak; along with meeting others for the very first time. For those of you who are new here; I’m not a mommy blogger, think a wee bit older… grandmother.

Verizon is covering the expense of my travel to and from Chicago, my hotel room along with some of my meals for this training event, along with the wireless device and service mentioned above. In exchange for my opinions via blog posts which will be share through my Facebook page and twitter over the coming weeks and months, all the way into December. During this time I will also host a house party, which will bring friends, and family together to discuss the latest Verizon devices and enjoy the efforts of my cooking. Then behind the scenes I will be taking part in online webinars each month to learn even more about Verizon and the latest technology. At the very end of this program I will be paid. Yes, blogging is my job.
