As most of you know I’ve been very ill for months now, last week being a really rough week indeed. I decided it was the perfect time to pick up my free pizza from Papa Murphy’s for a hot meal that didn’t require me standing over the stove longer than it took for me to slide the pizza in the oven. Most of my family likes a ton of topping on their pizza so one of the pizzas we picked up (shown below) had a little bit of everything on it. I thought the pizza looked huge before baking, although when I pulled it from the oven it had risen even more. Which made for one tasty pan pizza. And yes thats a paper plate, I figured if I’m going to make dinner easy on me then clean up should be easy as well.
I on the other hand normally order a separate pizza because I’m rather choosy about my topping and I love the combination of pineapple and jalapeños along with Canadian bacon, onions and green peppers on my pizza, which no one else appreciates!
Our family enjoyed our pan pizzas from Papa Murphy’s, the pizzas were piping hot and fresh from our own oven. Seriously with the amount of toppings (which personally I believe leaves other brands sadly lacking) made for a filling meal when combined with a dinner salad. We initially picked up 3 pizzas for our extended family meal, consisting of 9 people. We actually had quite a bit of pizza left over, and that normally doesn’t happen when you’re feeding all those guys after a day on the job.
Also a little fun tip, we called our order in ahead of time, stopped in, paid and on our way home in a flash.
I have my mind-set on trying the stuffed crust pizza next time we plan a fresh pizza dinner at home.
