So I went into a restaurant asking for a large coffee and proceeded to adjust the flavor with sugar and creamer until I was happy with the rich and creamy hot beverage I’d hoped would wipe the cobwebs from my sluggish mind. And I was hooked! Over the years I’ve tried many coffee flavors and combinations yet I always return to Folgers with a healthy dose of french vanilla creamer.

The Folgers iconic jingle has become a piece of pop culture and generations have heard the Folgers jingle. Given the rich traditions in American music, Folgers is inviting aspiring musicians to embrace the popular jingle and make it your own.

Folgers® has a long-standing tradition of inspiring musicians to follow their dreams, and this year they have teamed up with country music singer-songwriter Chris Young to help encourage aspiring musicians to create their own version of the iconic Best Part of Wakin’ Up™ Jingle in the Folgers Jingle Contest.

Here’s the skinny on the details.

Submit a video of YOUR best version of the Folgers jingle from now through February 27, 2017. Your unique version of the Folgers jingle must include the complete melody and complete lyrics of “The Best Part of Wakin’ Up is Folgers in Your Cup.”

Starting February 27th through March 19th, 2017, the Folgers team will select 5 semi-finalists and each will have a mentor session with Chris Young before the online vote.

Beginning March 27th through April 24th, 2017, and around the country will have a chance to vote daily for their favorite #FolgersJingle. Every vote automatically enters you to win prizes up to $10,000.

And last but not least, in May 2017, one winner will be selected to win the grand prize of $25,000.
