Did YOU Know That The Entire Month Of September Is National Breakfast Month?
In our home, our favorite time to enjoy breakfast as a meal is for dinner. We have more time, and everyone isn’t busy running around without time to enjoy a full meal. I can remember my mother cooking breakfast for dinner often in our home. Both of my parents worked full time, so dinner was normally a time when we were, for the most part, all at home.
Before I begin typing away, I’d like to welcome you to the Falling for Prizes Giveaway Hop Event
Hosted by Planet Weidknecht and LeahSay’s Views
I received a breakfast starter kit from Krusteaz to facilitate my review.*
Krusteaz began in 1932, with the women of the Seattle bridge club and a great idea they had for an easy-to-make pie crust. Since then, Krusteaz (a clever combination of “crust” and “ease”) has come to stand for home-baked and convenient fresh-from-the-oven goodness.
That spirit of innovation continues with the introduction in the 1940’s of the Krusteaz “just ad water” Pancake Mix, a unique concept at the time, and one of the products they’re most know for today. In the 60’s, they spread the word in a way that was as novel as their pancake mix: the Krusteaz Krutesy Kitchen, a fully-equipped “traveling diner” that served up free pancake breakfasts throughout the Northwest.
Over the years their product line has expanded to included biscuits, muffins, brownies, breads, desserts, and more for an ever increasing loyal following practically any place people enjoy delicious pancakes and baked goods… in homes, at restraints, for our armed forces and they were even the brand of choice served to thousands of hungry workers who built the Alaska Pipeline.
I don’t know about you, but our family trusts the flavor and consistency of each mix I purchase to bring smiles to my families faces, and leaving me with a good feeling because I know my family enjoyed the meal or dessert I prepared with Krusteaz mixes.
I found several Krusteaz Breakfast Recipes I would like to try such as…
Creative pancakes which are sure to bring a smile to your children and grandchildren’s faces.
Create a Crepe Breakfast bar, letting each family member add the fillings of their choice. Maybe a combination of savory and sweet filling for a complete meal experience.
Did you know you can purchase Krusteaz Gluten Free Mixes, Organic Mixes, Flatbread Mixes, Muffin and Cookie Mixes, along with Bread and a large selection of family favorites that I know will soon become a must-have staple in your pantry for a quick meal or treat for your family.
***Keeping with the theme of September’s National Breakfast Month, look for our new recipes I will be creating for the month of September, coming soon.*
