I’ve Accepted a Dare! Lancome and Shespeaks Dared Me to a #bareselfie!

I received a DARE from SheSpeaks and Lancôme approximately a month ago. The dare… They would send me Lancôme DreamTone to try for one month and the DARE portion is I’m to post a #bareselfie of my self before I begin using Lancôme DreamTone, then post another picture after I’ve used DreamTone for a few weeks. I received a bottle of Lancôme DreamTone from Shespeaks in exchange for my review.*

Let’s just start this post out by me saying I must REALLY appreciate you, my readers, for me to go to the lengths I have for this review post. Showing bare face pictures for ALL the world to see is stepping WAY out of my personal comfort zone.

I’ll admit it  I will be 51 winters old in January; and as you can see in the photo on the left my skin tone is showing each and every winter. I’ve always carried dark circles under my eyes but as one ages the skin thins and the dark circles are even more pronounced. You will also notice sun spots, because I was a sun worshiper in the highest form up until I was around 25.

As you can see from the 24 days I’ve used Lancôme DreamTone, I believe my skin tone has become brighter and the sun spots are starting to fade. I did notice the redness in my cheeks has faded as well. I can’t really tell if the dark circles under my eyes are improving or not; because I’ve been sick for a while. I’ll need to reevaluate again at a later date.

Over all I will give Lancôme DreamTone a big thumbs up. I have seen a noticeable difference in my skin tone and I feel more confident when I’m not wearing makeup than I did before; along with the fact I’m using less make up to help conceal those sunspots!
