Once again the days are getting shorter, the nights are turning cooler, and the leaves on the trees are changing colors, all of which are sure signs fall is here and winter is just around the corner. One of the things I like about fall and winter is being able to wear multiple layers of clothing, sweaters*, and boots. Another thing I enjoy in the fall is going to a bonfire, with all the grandchildren running around enjoying visiting with their cousins and the adults standing around talking while we roast hot dogs and marshmallows; all the while we are each thinking this will be one of the last outdoor family activities we will enjoy until spring arrives.
