I found the SteamMachine to be effective and helpful tool in cleaning my bathroom and kitchen area. The high pressure, heated steam loosened tough hard to clean grim in our home. I had years worth of sticky grime on the cabinet doors above my stove. This was in place when I moved into this home, I thought I would be able to simply clean it up with a bit of scrubbing. Not so. I’ve scrubbed, scrapped etc to no avail. It always comes out a sticky mess and I in turn get frustrated. I was able to use the small nozzle attachment to clean the grime from the two doors; each door took me quite awhile but I can actually touch them and not have that sticky feeling on my hands.
The mop attachment I had a little difficultly using. I felt by the time I was able to clean a section and then tried to wipe up the loosed dirt, it dried too quickly for me to wipe up completely. I have attempted the kitchen floor several time with the same results. This in turn could be something I’m not doing correctly.
Overall I found the SteamMachine helpful in cleaning my bathroom, kitchen and grill. I’m sure I’ll find more uses the longer I own it.
