It’s not a secret I enjoy hot tea in the morning and then switch over to iced tea in the afternoon. Between the two of us, we will go through a pitcher of iced tea in a day. When family and friends stop by we average a gallon of iced tea in an afternoon.

I simply fill the water tank on the back of the ice tea maker. Place the desired amount of tea bags in the front basket/filter. Next, since I personally like sweet tea, add my sugar directly to the empty glass pitcher, then place the lid on the pitcher and place the pitcher in place on the tea maker and press the button. I go about my morning routine and once the tea has finished brewing I open the lid on the picture and give the hot tea stir to completely dissolve the sugar which only takes a moment. Then I fill the tea pitcher with water or ice up to the fill line and place the tea in the glass pitcher in the refrigerator to cool down.
