I’ve been given the opportunity to review* the Dorothy of Oz doll from Bandai.

Have you been to see the FUN NEW Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return movie yet? It’s in theaters NOW, check your local theater for show times. I haven’t but I’ve watch several of the trailers with my granddaughter and (ding, ding, ding) I believe we have a winner! She is completely engrossed with the film and she is hum/singing along with the movie clips.

Dorothy has just returned form her first incredible visit to Oz, when she’s being called back for yet another adventure with her friend and a whole new villain. After waking to post tornado Kansas, Dorothy and her dog Toto will be journey back to the land of Oz, via a magical rainbow sent by the Lion, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow. Once she arrives in Oz she finds out time has elapsed much quicker than at home in Kansas, and she discovers that the Jester (which is the rotten brother of the Wicked Witch of the West) is taking Oz over one region at a time, holding the leaders captive and casting a cover of darkness over the land. Not even the Good Witch Glinda is able to fight the Jester’s evil sinister powers, making Dorothy they’re only hope.

Now take a look as the cast member from “Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return” reveal what drew them to the film and inspired their performances, as well as the special care they took to protect the Legacy of Oz. Featuring Lea Michele, Jim Belushi, Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd and Patrick Stewart.

We received the basic Dorothy doll for review. If your little one is a fan of make-believe and or dolls, I’m sure she will be impressed with the adorable Dorothy doll. Bandai Toys has created a line of Legends of Oz: Dorothy Returns toys. Which are so cute (squeezeee) you’ll have a hard time deciding which one to purchase? While we were viewing the toy line up my granddaughter was taken with the Singing Dorothy doll as well as Toto the dog.
