April 1, 2014, – GRAMMY nominated artist David Gray is proud to announce the release of this much anticipated TENTH studio album “Mutineers”. The collection will debut on June 17, 2014, which marks the artist’s first release for Kobalt Label Services. In order to help celebrate the release, Gray has unveiled the video for “Gulls” the first track from the album to be streamed ahead of the release date. Mutineers finds the singer songwriter into unfamiliar territory while cultivating a pugnacious but respectful relationship with his own history. The sound of the release is a shift instantly audible upon the first listen. In addition to the change in tone, there’s a rising sense throughout the record of an artist liberated for even his own expectations. From the opening affirmation the single, “Back In The World” (my personal favorite) to its conclusion, David sees the album’s ancestry as more in the neighborhood of John Martin’s Small Hours than predecessors in his own catalog.

In addition to the album announcement, David recently returned to the United States for a select run of theaters which was SOLD OUT!

David Gray has established himself as one of the UK’s leading music artist both at home and around the globe. I’ve been listening to David Gray’s Mutineers for the past two days basically nonstop because I truly fine the music soothing and uplifting at the same time, while I’m working. The music is uplifting and hauntingly beautiful at the same time; which I find as refreshing soul searching material.
