I’m going to touch on a subject that most of us are uncomfortable talking about, the problem of women and bladder leakage, and perhaps finding a solution with Depend Silhouette Active Fit #Underwearness.
Personally after having five children and then driving a semi truck for several years, which was always a strain on my bladder waiting until I could locate the next rest stop bathroom, my bladder has begun to show my age. Meaning, sometimes when I laugh, cough or sneeze… I tinkle a little. There, I said it, I didn’t turn to dust, but it does make me uncomfortable to talk about this subject. Why, I’m uncomfortable, personally believe it stems from social stigma. Did you know more people in their 20’s than those in their 80’s have incontinence, bladder leakage?
I can remember the first time I decided maybe it was time for me to use something other than a period pad for my bladder leakage. I was spending the day with my sister in law and we were laughing rather hard about some of the fashion (and it was fashion in the sense that I would NEVER wear it) and styles available at one of our favorite retail stores. I realize my period pad wasn’t holding up to the job of containing a little tinkle. Therefore I felt the need to rush to the restroom, which by the way was not close at hand. Another time that I’ve found I depend upon Depend is while traveling, those long lines at the airport or while on the plane certainly call for added protection.
Period pads simply are not made for bladder leakage!
Did you know Depend is entering into year 2 (two) of #Underwearness, a social movement and charitable cause to break down the bladder leakage stigma.
As part of #Underwearness, the Depend brand is:
