Brooklyn Bean Extravaganza Hot Cocoa Flavored K-Cups

 As most of you know I’m not a fan of the cold weather and freezing temps winter brings to southwest Missouri. However I am a BIG fan of hot beverages when the temperatures drop. I received a box of Brooklyn Bean Roastery Hot Cocoa K-Cups in assorted flavors.

When the box arrived the grandchildren and myself went through examining each of the exacting flavors while trying to decide which hot cocoa k-cup to make first.

We started out with Campfire Hot Cocoa with Marshmallow flavor. This one was a big hit and the children agreed it was the all around favorite once we taste tested all of the flavors.

As you can see from the photo above our Keurig sees a lot of action during the winter months. And YES I’m embarrassed by the drip marks on the lid.

Each of the six flavors we received were a fun change from our normal hot cocoa routine.

The flavors offered were:

Midnight Cocoa. Dark chocolate flavored, if you enjoy dark chocolate you’ll fall for the deep rich decadence of the intense silky hot cocoa that is as dark a night.

Mexican Cocoa. Since cocoa as a drink was first prepared in Mexico it’s fitting to bring a little south-of-the-boarder flavor to the Brooklyn Bean Roastery line. Mexican chocolates are known for the different spices like cinnamon and chilies that are added to create intense tastes, like nothing you’ve tasted before.

Campfire Cocoa Marshmallow Flavored.

Peanut Butter Cup Flavored Cocoa.

Carnival Salted Caramel Flavored.

Milk Chocolate Flavored Cocoa.

At the present time the Brooklyn Bean Hot Cocoa K-Cups are NOT compatible with Keurig 2.0. HOWEVER all except the Brooklyn Beans Roastery coffee will be by the end of February 2015.

After trying all six flavors of Brooklyn Roast Hot Cocoa K-Cups flavors it cmd down to; I really enjoyed the Campfire and Milk Chocolate flavors and the Carnival flavor is all right but not something I’d want everyday. As for the other flavors, they were a little out there on the flavor spectrum for myself and the children. BUT, I’m positive not everyone has the same taste in coffee, tea or cocoa.
