I will be sharing my journey with you from time to time about my experience with A Well Beings – HCG Formulation Drops and African Mango supplement.
I actually began this journey a few weeks ago. However with the move I stopped and have begun once again yesterday 10/5/11.
I will not go in to the actual weight on my first day. Let’s just say over weight and leave it at that.
So far this program has not been difficult with the exception of trying to eat fatty foods the first 3 days. Sounds strange, however I am more of a salty foods type of person so trying to eat (gorge) myself with fatty foods was a strange reality. I’m mean I am always thinking don’t eat that because it’s fat. It’s a little hard to move past that road block in one’s brain. But I have broke out the chocolate and I will prevail!
How many of you struggle with your weight. I know I have off and on over the course of my life. However after I had to have a radical hysterectomy which brought on menopause. I have steadily gained weight over the past ten years. What methods of weight loss has worked for you. Share your success!
October 10, 2011 Day 4:
I have followed the diet so far and all has gone well. I have not had any problems. I did weigh myself this morning. I have lost .5 pounds. May not sound like much but I see it an .5 less I need to lose.  I have eaten a lot of salad. I do still use my coffee creamer in the morning and well, I’m not going to give it up. It is one of very few guilty pleasures I have and I know I would go back to using it the moment the diet was over. So I decided I would continue to use the creamer and not have to worry about a weight gain when I reintroduced it back into my diet at a later date.
I resisted going out to dinner last night, knowing this would be way too soon in the diet process for me to be tempted by fatty foods.
October 12, 2011 Day 6:
Woo Hoo! I’m saying this because as of this morning I’m down 2.5 lbs. Still taking my HCG drops and African Mango tablets. Drinking lots of water!
October 16, 2011 Day 10:
Down one more pound! Still sticking to the diet until the other night. I had a slice of un-frosted cake. Still drinking lots of water. I may reread the booklet to see if I need to change it up a bit so things will progress maybe a bit quicker.
October 28, 2011 Day 23:
I stepped on the scales this morning and drum roll please… I’m down 4.5 pounds. My weight loss has been slow. However I think this will be best for me. Because I feel if I lose weight to quickly I will end up gaining it back soon and I know those pounds will bring friends! So slow and steady is fine with me.
November 2, 2011 Day 28:
I weighed in this morning. Even though I had…Halloween candy and foods from our Halloween party. I still managed to lose 2.5 lbs! Which brings me to a total loss of 11 lbs. I’m starting to become quite nervous now that the holiday’s are approaching. Holiday’s and our family, means lot’s of foods heavy with calories. I am having a little bit of trouble drinking as much water as I need to since the weather has turned cooler. I may start drinking hot tea.
November 9, 2011 Day 35:
I made myself weigh in today. I knew (I normally do) I had gained weight even before I put one toe on the scale. Last week was Halloween. Let’s face fact’s I’m a chocoholic and I need a separate 12 step program just for that alone. Not to mention I have been under a bit of stress this past week from the earthquakes and tornado watches/warnings.
So I’m back up 2 lbs. Ugh.. however, I will just keep in mind I’m in this for the long haul and not a quick fix.
November 17, 2011 Day 43:
I have come to the conclusion the HCG Diet is not for me. I have no doubt the program will work for others. However this is just not the best way for me/personally to lose weight. I’m starting to experience stomach cramps and diarrhea. Which is not something I want to “deal” with. I wish everyone the best success no matter what diet – weight loss management system you choose to use. We each deserve the right to feel good about who we are as individuals.
